How Can I Get My Chipped or Broken Tooth Fixed?
Do you hide your smile because you’re self-conscious about a chipped or broken tooth? We know that living with a chipped or broken tooth can be inconvenient and a source of embarrassment. Today we want to share how Pleasant Plains Dental can help restore the look and function of your tooth so you can smile with confidence once again!
What Should I Do If I Chip My Tooth?
Chipped teeth are very common. While your teeth are strong, and enamel is the hardest surface in your body, a chipped tooth can be caused by a blow to the mouth, chewing on ice or hard candy, and even biting down into a seemingly “safe” food the wrong way. If this happens, don’t panic. Call our office as soon as possible! Our team will walk you through the steps you can take to ease any pain and we’ll go over your treatment options.
Can My Broken Tooth Be Fixed?
Dr. Ernst and our team use Lumineers® to treat a variety of smile issues for our patients. Lumineers are thin veneers made from cerinate porcelain, a material about as thick as a contact lens. It matches the natural color of your teeth and can be seamlessly applied to improve their look. Unlike traditional veneers, Lumineers are minimally invasive, meaning we do not need to remove any of the healthy tooth structure to apply them because they are so thin. They last about 20 years with proper oral hygiene and can be removed at any time if you change your mind!
Our Financial Options
At Pleasant Plains Dental, we want high-quality dental care to be accessible to all our patients so we offer a variety of payment options to finance your dental treatment. If, after a consultation with Dr. Ernst, you determine that Lumineers are the right choice for you and your smile goals, our team will work with you to figure out how they can fit into your budget. We accept most PPO dental insurances, offer flexible financing through CareCreditSM, and have our own in-house Dental Savers Plan to help you save on the care you need. To ask us any questions about Lumineers or our financing options, or if you want to schedule your next appointment, contact our office today!
